This unit introduces the student to the exciting work of aviation and aeronautics, with a focus on civil aircraft and applications. Aeronautics deals with the science and engineering of designing and manufacturing an aircraft for use within the Earth鈥檚 atmosphere, while aviation focuses on aircraft operations and the aviation industry.
